Coriolis Investment Group is an investment holding company specializing in non-retail investment options. Our primary focus is growing private companies, with additional investment modalities being taken advantage of when opportunities arise. These have included stock arbitrage, short selling, and foreign currencies.

Forming in 2008, CIG is a child of a turbulent era for investors and it's structure reflects this. With the rise of automation in stock picking from high-frequency hedge funds to simple indexing, there is a key human element that has been eroded for public investment modalities, that is incentive, responsibility, and management.

 

We feel there are greater returns to be had by making investments where returns can be calculated to some degree of accuracy and individuals can be held accountable to achieving the calculated results. That is in private companies, the growth and development of those companies.
